Representation: Booklane does not make any representation or Warranty as to specifics (such as quality, value, salability, etc) of the products or services proposed to be sold or offered to be sold or purchased on the Website. Booklane does not implicitly or explicitly support or endorse the sale or purchase of any products or services on the Website. Booklane accepts no liability for any errors or omissions, whether on behalf of itself or third parties.
Breach of contact: Booklane makes it clear that even though it is a sole seller on the site but the service is dependent on publishers, sellers, distributors, delivery partner etc. Booklane does not take any responsibility of the service or product sold because of these dependent factors. Booklane is committed to providing the best service.
Warranty: Booklane does not make any representation or warranty as to the item-specifics (such as legal title, creditworthiness, identity, etc.) of any of its Users. Booklane advises to independently verify the bona fides of any particular.
Right, Title or Interest over product: Booklane does not hold any right, title or interest, nor have any obligations or liabilities in respect of any contracts entered into between buyers and our service providers. Booklane does not take any responsibility for the unsatisfactory or delayed performance of services or damages or delays as a result of products which are out of stock, unavailable or back ordered.
Bipartite contract: Booklane is only providing a platform for communication and it is agreed that the contract for sale of any of the products or services shall be a strictly bipartite contract between the service provider andthe Buyer.
Pre-order: The processing or completion of orders placed as pre-orders will be subject to the availability of books on launch. Booklane can take up to 4 weeks after the book launch to process the order. If the orders are not processed in 4 weeks from launch the users can opt for a refund.
User Creation: Booklane holds the right to create a user with the information received on our platform. This means we can create a user using information received via surveys, newsletter etc,
Buyback: Booklane currently will give 70% cash back in form of store credit or 60% cash back in form of INR to the user account. The user can choose any of the above 2 options. Booklane reserves the right to change this cashback % anytime without prior notice. The buy-back % will be calculated on the checkout cost i.e. the cost after the platform discount.
Store Credit Withdrawl: Users can withdraw/transfer store credit at any time to their bank account. The withdrawal of buy-back points will be a simple formula of every 70 points is equal to 60 INR.
Payment: While availing any of the payment method/s available on the Website, Booklane will not be responsible or assume any liability, whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly because of:

Disputes (Resolutions) Policy
At Booklane, has a Dispute Resolution process in order to resolve disputes between Buyers and website or service provider.
Buyer Protection Program
Situations where the Buyer Protection Program Works:
In case of a dispute where the website is unable to provide a refund or a replacement, Booklane will actively work towards reaching a resolution.
The Buyer Protection Program covers Buyers who are unable to successfully resolve their dispute with the website or are not satisfied the resolution provided by the Seller.
The Buyer can write to info@Booklane.in. if the issue with the website is not resolved.
In due course of resolution, Booklane’s Customer Support Team will facilitate a conference call including the website representative or service provider and the Buyer.
When a dispute has been raised, Booklane may provide both the parties access to each other’s Display Names, contact details including email addresses and other details pertaining to the dispute. Buyers and Sellers are subject to final consent from Booklane for settling the dispute.

There is a limitation period of 15 days in which you have to file the complaint.
The first step which a buyer should take is contact the webiste to resolve the dispute. If the Buyer doesn’t hear from the website reprentative or is unable to resolve the issue with the Seller even after contact, a dispute can be raised with Booklane by writing an email to info@Booklane.in.
Buyers can make a maximum of 2 claims per year on Booklane. If the claim was withdrawn, it is not counted. The coverage amount will be limited to ₹20,000.
Buyers are not entitled to immediate refund of money or replacement of the product. Booklane will be first verifying the dispute and will be processing the claims that are valid and genuine.
Claims related to ‘Buyer remorse’ (i.e. instances where products are bought by the Buyer by mistake or where the Buyer chooses to change his/her mind with regard to the product purchased by him) will not be entertained through this program.
(Disclaimer) Don’t initiate invalid or false claim or don’t provide incomplete or misleading information because Booklane reserves right to initiate civil and/or criminal proceeding against you in these cases.
If there is a delay in shipment or delivery of the item by website then you cannot file a complaint or entertain any claim from Booklane through this mechanism.
